Capstan-Winch on Trailer

The capstan winches mounted on trailers provide additional flexibility, allowing you to stay mobile while benefiting from all the advantages of a capstan winch system.
Max pulling force: 20 – 30 kN (2000 – 3000 kg)
The trailer-mounted capstan winch is designed for laying underground telecommunication and power cables in pre-installed ducts or open trenches, as well as for subducting operations.
Our new 3-ton electric capstan winch, called E-Winch, is particularly relevant. It is powered by two high-capacity batteries that allow more than four hours of uninterrupted operation. The system can be recharged from the mains, generators, or electric vehicle charging points, ensuring continuous cable installation without interruption.
Its compact design and lightweight construction enable all models to operate efficiently in confined spaces, while the dual capstan system ensures pulling at a constant speed and force.
The electric drive of the 3-ton E-Winch allows it to be used in closed and confined environments. Thanks to its battery-powered motorization, it eliminates the need for exhaust gas diversion systems and provides significantly quieter operation, making it suitable for night work or urban environments.
The cable of all models is automatically paid in and stored using a swivelling pulley at a fixed point. This design enables low-tension winding regardless of the pulling force and ensures a stable and constant load on the cable, helping to extend its service life.
During the pulling operation, the adjustable limiter automatically stops the winch in case of overload, while the reverse gear allows the cable to be safely and easily unwound.
Our trailers are equipped with a suspension axle and, depending on the model, may include a removable polyester hood or an overhanging protective canvas.
Additionally, our capstan winches can be equipped with the optional MP-50 Electronic Assistant, allowing operators to monitor and record important installation parameters and supervise the pulling force during operation.
Available in 9 versions.
